Liubao tea is an evergreen shrub of the Camellia family. The leaves are oblong-lanceolate. The leaf color is brown, black and smooth, with yellow flowers in between, and the bottom of the leaf is reddish brown. Liubao tea is known for its four unique qualities: red, thick, aging, and mellow. The strips are long and tight, the soup is red and thick, the aroma is thick, and the taste is sweet and delicious. The orthodox should have the flavor of pine tobacco and betel nut, and the bottom of the leaf is copper-brown.

- First, heat the tea wares. Add in the suitable amount of tea, normally between 8 - 10g or according to personal preference.
- Next, use boiled water (95°C) to steep it for 20 to 30 seconds and it is ready to served.
Keep the tea in cool/room temperature and stay away from sunlight, moisture and outdoor.
